weird of me to write 2 posts in one seating.. anw..

decided to talk abt this topic because i am one too.haha..

solitary people.. you see them everywhere somehow.. alone in the library.. on the streets.. two seats beside you on the train..

and somehow.. i am attracted to them more n more.. not all of them.. but a certain group of them.. those who appear comfortable being alone.. those who know wad they are doing.. those who look purposeful.. and of course.. those who look artsy.. which somehow is the case quite frequently.. hopefully i am getting there too.. haha.. and there is a fine line betw arrogance and dont look at me; and comfortable, inquisitive and life enjoying..

life enjoying.. how did i even come up with that.. but surprisingly there are people like tat! more so in london i guess.. there is no stigma for people, even girls watching movies alone.. shopping at vintage shops alone.. travelling alone.. i think these people are like myself.. or perhaps i am like them.. doesnt really bother me..

we know what we enjoy doing.. maybe a mocha in a cafe? some particular movie.. and let just say we are not fiercely solitary in the sense we detest company.. but more like we do not let the lack of company deter us from doing what we enjoy.. like photography.. photography enthusiasts are the ones that receive the most amt of unwanted attention i guess.. for their different in aesthetic view.. because they see a certain beauty in small yellow flowers just along the road.. or they want to capture moments of spontaneous laughter.. or maybe a random piece of disown furniture in a a dark lit alley is poetry to them..

just because different things speak to them.. we somehow treat them like aliens.. so i guess they have it the hardest.. luckily i am not that into photography.. just an amateur wanting to capture things of aesthetic beauty or moments of feelings..

the last group are those that go to museums alone.. somehow i think they is a certain beauty to these people.. or perhaps its because i do the same.. but often they are pretty people too! *winks*

i wish singapore can be a more open society to these solitary people.

we are humans too, only we enjoy life more.
